Spaceship Studio featured at Weltmuseum Science Fiction(s)

As part of the Vienna Weltmuseum Exposition "Science Fiction(s)" we were asked to create an interactive experience for the museum-goers. The ideas was to create a "design cockpit" for everyone to create their own creative spaceships just like the famous Millenium Falcon or USS-Enterprise. Because of our previus experiences with AI-driven applications, it made our approach to make this project really happen rather clear.
Our secret weapon in crafting these futuristic marvels was stable diffusion, a sophisticated AI mechanism we employed to bring these visions to life. By incorporating stable diffusion, we ensured the generation of high-quality, visually striking spaceship images that captivated the imagination of the visitors.
This interactive experience was designed to be a fusion of entertainment and exploration of art. By offering the visitor a selection of Weltmuseum artists we further wanted the users to engage with some of the works they had seen before in the museum. The final textprompt allows for even the craziest ideas and suggestions.
Now, we're not oblivious to the challenges associated with AI-generated art. We recognize the many problems regarding authorship, commodification of art and the reductionist approach of comparing the inspired generated images with the real pieces. . However, our primary goal was to elevate the museum experience, injecting an interactive and entertaining element. Our aim was to offer a fun and engaging opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in the sci-fi universe through our unique AI-powered creations.
Codl is committed to the convergence of technology and creativity. We strive to challenge conventions and foster an engaging experience that showcases the harmonious fusion of AI, art, and individual imagination. Our work at the museum exposition exemplifies our dedication to pushing the boundaries of what's possible while inviting everyone to be a part of this exciting journey.
